Christine and Dan at the Calgary Lougheed House wedding mark the last wedding of the 2012 year, an amazing journey that ends where it started – in the Lougheed House (what are the odds??). Thankfully the last week of December was rather warm, and we were alright to go outside for a few photos with the sun setting. This Calgary Lougheed House wedding was spectacular in its intimacy. The entire wedding was under 15 people, which made this particular venue a perfect choice to host this wedding.
Funny fact – when I first met Christine and Dan, they were already seated at the Starbucks we agreed to meet at and the next time I would see them would be at their Calgary Lougheed House wedding. I honestly didn’t realize how TALL Dan was until I saw him walk into the Lougheed House just hours before the ceremony! It was pretty awesome.
I was really pleased to shoot another Calgary Lougheed House wedding; it’s one of those historical locations in Calgary that we are so fortunate to have. I love the architecture and the history. Did you know that the Lougheed House had one of the first telephones in Calgary? Small awesome tidbit of information for your day. ;) The gardens are also wonderful in the summer and fall, which makes it a great choice for a Calgary Lougheed House wedding. Not to mention the food, which is incredible! This Calgary Lougheed House wedding was beautifully emotional and the bride and groom were both stunning, surrounded by their most closest friends and family.
Enjoy the amazing intimate Calgary Lougheed House wedding of Christine and Dan… and thank you to ALL of my amazing 2012 couples for another fantastic year and for your support throughout this amazing year. <3
