How lucky am I to have such amazing repeat clients! I was so happy to hear the Borden family wanted a larger family session for their extended family that came to visit last month. I enjoyed photographing the extended portion of the Borden family in a Heritage Park Family Session. To be totally honest, I was a little worried about the kid to adult ratio but dang these kids were excellent and totally into it! The smaller blonde girl eventually put out her hand and said “no more pictures!” but thankfully we were almost done – haha! I know, I know, it’s hard work being a model at such a young age… we photographers can be such slave drivers. ;)
Heritage Park family sessions are pretty much my favorite. In fact, the area can be a little overwhelming for photographers because there’s so much to do and you just want to do it all at once. Some of my favorite family shots are Heritage Park family sessions, and it’s a great place to go especially with kids. (Except when the train scares poor Berlin, pictured below.) It was also sweet Berlin’s birthday! What a great way to celebrate with a Heritage Park family session. The family has a great color scheme going on, too! I can’t recall if the green was more or less by accident… but I love how all the kids are wearing a combination of browns and pinks. It looks super fun!
I really love all the shots of grandma with her girls as well. It seems like you can never have enough photos with your grandma (I know I personally don’t have very many), so I am sure the girls are going to really love to look back on these when they get older. Can we also agree on how amazing grandma looks! Dayum!
