Lisa and Antonio were one of my first weddings of 2014, and at one of my favorite golf courses of Calgary – Valley Ridge Golf. You couldn’t tell by the photos below, but the flowers were just starting to bloom – what surprised me most is that amazing pink blossom tree you’ll notice at the end of the ‘aisle’ during the ceremony at the golf course. It was SO vivid and it matched SO perfectly with Lisa’s bouquet and pink bridesmaid dresses!
Lisa describes her wedding planning process: “We wanted an outdoor ceremony and Valley Ridge seemed to deliver it all. An elegant reception area and a beautiful surroundings to walk down the aisle. We didn’t realize that the Flowering Crab would be in bloom so it matched our Pink theme perfectly!”
When it comes to her favorite part, Lisa says, “I think the biggest thing was seeing family and friends we haven’t seen in awhile. We moved up to Edmonton a year prior so it was nice to catch up and have all the people we love share in our special day.”
Finally, Lisa’s greatest piece of advice for wedding planning is: “I would say to plan ahead and not stress about the small things. At the end of the day, it is all about having fun, not if some things were out of place :)”
Huge thank you to Crystal of Sujata Photography for her second shooting and assisting during the day!!
