Giselle contacted me about her at-home wedding only a couple of months before the big day was to happen. In order for me to better understand how the ceremony was going to look like, I drove out to meet Giselle and Kirk at their property before the day. Oh man, I was totally blown away! What a gorgeous property; completely photogenic and at such a wonderful time of the year, it was going to be a perfect place for the wedding. Giselle is an incredibly thoughtful and kind woman, and her ideal wedding was to have everyone just relax and have a good time without any pressure. The reception was catered and set up right in front of their house, with a candy bar and many cute cowboy themed wedding decorations, and a petting zoo for the kids full of adorable animals.
It was important for Kirk to get photos with his father’s car, which was left for him after his father passed away. We also aimed to get photos of the couple on their horses, but unfortunately the horses were not in the mood – so they got a photo from a distance away instead. It’s hard being a model sometimes. ;)
Giselle and Kirk’s cowboy themed wedding at home was an amazing experience, and a perfect way to wrap up my 2014 wedding season. Thank you, Giselle and Kirk, for including me in your beautiful and stress-free wedding day!
