Veronica and Peter’s engagement session and wedding day both happened within the span of a week. Don’t get me wrong – they’d been planning for many months, but it was long distance planning which didn’t allow for us to see each other often before their big day. I’m so thrilled that they were able to make time for their engagement session only days away from their wedding celebration!
They had a full Latin mass ceremony, which is the first time I’ve experienced such a thing. It was really lovely to hear the choir sing from the back of the church. Although, I must admit, watching Veronica and Peter was my favorite part of the ceremony. When Veronica walked down the aisle to greet Peter and sit alongside him, Peter could barely take his eyes off of his bride. He grinned from ear to ear. It was truly the look of an ecstatically happy man.
Veronica had special ordered amazing Converse shoes for the bridesmaids to match the wedding colors – and I’m sure the girls really appreciated it over being in their heels the whole day! We had a surprise visit from a lovely security horse at Fish Creek Park, which was quite fitting as Veronica grew up with horses. The skies were moody but stayed good for us, and then they partied the night away!
Special thank you to Robert Albertin of RoGo Photography for the help and assistance during the day!
