Be still my nerdy heart.
Leah and Patrick’s wedding was chock-full of fantastic geeky references, from superhero socks to Lego place cards. After learning that this couple was very much into pop culture and how detail oriented Leah is, I knew that this wedding would have amazing nerdy gems all over the place. It felt like Leah was right in her element planning this wedding and she thought of everything – truly everything – on how to make and share this special day with her loved ones. Lucky for Patrick, I have a feeling that just about any nerdy details he wanted were likely approved by Leah!
This sweet bride is also a talented pastry chef. She created ALL of those amazing florals around the center cake herself! I recall her describing to me how many months it took her to get it all done. I love it when a person’s passion is integrated into their special days like this.
We must have experienced all weather types during this day – the ceremony photos alone show how it was cloudy, then drizzled rain a little, experienced a beautiful rainbow, and then full sun at the end. Oh, good old Calgary weather patterns! This fantastic couple took the weather changes like a champ.
Leah and Patrick, thank you so much for including me in your amazing geeky wedding! All of your hard work in all of the little details were so incredible!
