Brianna and Mike’s wedding at the gorgeous Fish Creek Park Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant was whirlwind planned in 4 months and I was so happy to be a part of this intimate experience. Thankfully, the Fall of their wedding year was one of the most amazing I’ve ever experienced as a wedding photographer, and we had some really incredible colors throughout their photos. In a place like Fish Creek Park, it’s hard to go wrong!
I couldn’t really put my finger on it, but I felt that Brianna reminded me of someone when I saw her getting all dressed for her big day. And then… it hit me. She totally looks like Daenerys Targaryen. So much. (Actually, when I told her, she was pretty pleased to hear it.)
Brianna put it best when I asked her about her greatest advice when planning a wedding. She said, “Keep it simple. Don’t overthink the small things like centre pieces, at the end of the day it’s about committing yourself to the person you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with. That’s what makes it an amazing day.” I couldn’t agree more. I love how Brianna and Mike kept having fun throughout their photos and were being silly, it’s such an amazing testament to their relationship dynamic. I just love working with such fun and carefree personalities!
