Dana and Joe had planned a whirlwind road trip from Ontario to Alberta that included a stop to Calgary, and the surrounding Rocky Mountains, and decided to have an engagement session done to celebrate their recent engagement. The two made it from Ontario to Alberta in just 2 days! They had a lot planned during their 11 day trip and I’m so glad that they found the time, and me, to document a part of their first big road trip together. I presented them with a lot of options of some of my favorite spots around Banff, and were totally cool with a last minute suggestion to visit one of the best views of the valley. Where Joe totally climbed a tree and did a Spiderman kiss with Dana in a totally not dangerous area at all.
I had a lot of fun chatting with them and learning about how their dreams of elopement turned into a full blown wedding instead, and about the different things they were planning for their big day. And how they had “nice” outfits for the engagement session and then “fun” outfits, sporting some of their favorite music. Most of all, I think I just fell in love with Dana’s incredible hair – and am wondering if my hair will look half as awesome, now that I’m trying to grow it out. (Fingers crossed.)
